The National Skills Academy in Financial Services is situated in the heart of Norfolk's thriving financial industry district. We benefit hugely through the support of our founding sponsors - some of the most influential national and international names in the industry.

The National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) is an independent employer-led, charitable organisation which is a leading body for training and development in the financial services industry.

The National Skills Academy (NSA) network was launched in October 2006 with the NSAFS as one of the first four Skills Academies to be created. The national launch of the NSAFS took place in May 2007. Since 2007, the NSAFS has worked on tackling the skills challenges in the sector and has expanded its network of accredited training providers to broaden its national coverage.

Housed within our modern facility, you will find state-of-the-art technologies like IPTV – internet protocol television, complete with full teleconferencing, and MediaSite – recording software and hardware that can store and catalogue any workshop, seminar or meeting in the building.

John Fair joined Aon in October 2008, starting his career in insurance as a Trainee Client Manager. John is located in Bristol, after moving there in 2005 to study Accounting and Internet Systems at the University of the West of England, where he graduated in 2009.

Johanna started her working life at the Britannia Building Society. After gaining some experience, she decided to move to Portishead Insurance where she was given the support and opportunity to study towards the Retail Financial Services (Insurance) Apprenticeship.
